This is a safe and secure hanger. No broken feet from accidental bumping out of cheap "open" hanger. Suggest locating and screwing into wooden stud for installing on drywall. Check position of the securing clamp on the end of the flex strap before installing. If needed rotate the strap 1/2 turn to relocate the lift clamp loop on the right hand side of extinguisher for quick disconnect. Manufacture thinks everyone is left handed....is presently picturing and shipping these with disconnect clamp on left hand side.
Very easy to install. Does a great job of holding the extinguisher. We bumped it several times to test it & it held the extinguisher.
Works like it should. Like the design for vehicles.
You have to make sure you buy the correct size fire extinguisher other wise its not worth it. We had opened the item put it on the wall. Then got a the fire extinguisher 3 days later and was too small. Other wise it would work great.
Construction is fine fit it didn't fit the Kidde Pro 5 Extinguisher I bought. Be careful that it fits the one you got.
