This arrived a few days ago. I was able to put together on my own. It doesn't come with a grate as previous reviews mention, but I had one from my old fire pit that I chose to use in this one. I used the pit for the 1st time last night. Overall, its a nice sized pit, the design and appearance are great. I have a cover for it, so I'll see how it holds up from rust in the next few months. I am pleased with my purchase so far.
I love it, does what its supposed to do. It is very sturdy and was easy to put together.I would definitely recommend, well worth it reasonably priced.
Purchased this because honestly I couldn't find any nice looking pits. The value was good and the style is quite nice. I actually had to purchase this pit two times. The first time it came I took it out of the box and the whole fencing on the side was bent. I was very flustered and tried bending it back but it wouldn't budge, so that told me that perhaps it dropped from a very high fall when on the way or in the warehouse. I took it back to Walmart and they returned it without any problems. Crossed my fingers and ordered another one and sure enough it was perfect and just as lovely as in the picture.
Perfect size
I bought mine maybe 3 years ago. I try and keep it covered when not in use. It has been amazing. But a few times I forgot to cover it when it rained and it has rotted through the bottom. But I love this and was so pleased to see its still available. I use this thing a few times a week...for 3 years....so I think its a great deal. Going to order it today!!

Loveiskind : No. I purchased this pit thinking that it came with a wood grate because it is pictured, and promised in the what is included information. This is not the case. I ordered a replacement pit assuming that mine was just missing the grate, but the new one came without a grate as well. When I spoke to someone at the toll free number provided for replacement parts (you are contacting China), they informed me that this product does not have a wood grate and that info should be taken off of Walmart's website. I hope this helps. If you have an old grill, that grate should work.

Yayi Customer Care : No. This fire pit is made of steel and is painted with high temperature paint that will withstand up to 1200 degrees F. Once the paint is burned off or chipped and the steel is exposed, the natural process of oxidation (rusting) will occur. To reduce the level of rusting, you can purchase a high temperature paint when you see the paint has degraded.
